Hi, I’m Mitch.

In 2020, I had brain surgery that changed my life. For years, I thought living with a seizure disorder was just… normal. Art became my meditation — the only way I could find meaning through the pain and struggle.

When my life got too bad to focus on drawing, I turned to photography. But it wasn’t until after surgery (when I was paralyzed and had to relearn nearly everything we take for granted) that I truly felt reborn.

Today, I am doing well. Seizure-free for over four years, after once living with them every single day.

So that’s my story, so far: drawing, photography, and a second chance at life.
