“Blasphemy”

I was going through a difficult time in my life while working on this piece. I felt alone and listening to Behemoth’s music cleared the chaos in my mind. This complex and intricate drawing allowed me to focus when life felt hard.

In March 2010, Nergal was held on trial in Poland on blasphemy charges for publicly denouncing religion by ripping up a Bible on stage in 2007 (Wikipedia).
